Meet our new intern - Mari! - Møt vår nye lærling - Mari!
Beautiful Living har fått en ny lærling. Mari skal hjelpe oss med en del prosjekter, og er godt i gang med sitt første. Hun skal blant annet ta del i oppussing/renovering av et par møbler, og jobbe med plantegninger, dekorering og fargevalg. Mari vil også skrive noen gjesteinnlegg her i bloggen. Hun vil være her hver onsdag og vi kommer til å holde dere oppdaterte på hva vi holder på med!
Mari is my new intern here at Beautiful Living. She'll be helping out with with a few projects, and is almost finished with her first! We have a couple of DIY plans, and she will also be doing some floor plans with me, decorating and styling and we're going to practice color palettes. Mari will also be guest blogging here. She'll be here every Wednesday, and we'll keep you updated on what we're up to!
Here we are, working on Mari's first project. More about this in a few days!
Hei! Jeg heter Mari og er 16 år gammel. Jeg kommer fra Bærum og går i 1.klasse på videregående med spesialisering design og håndverk. Jeg valgte denne linjen fordi jeg er spesielt interessert i interiør og har søkt på interiør og utstillingsdesign på vg2. Vi har nå et prosjekt på skolen hvor vi skal ha utplassering. Prosjektet må være relatert til linjen vi har valgt videre neste år. Jeg ønsket å jobbe med Dagny og Beautiful Living fordi jeg blir involvert i hele interiørprosessen. Dette er en utrolig fin mulighet for meg for å bruke teori i praktiske løsninger. Vi er i gang med samarbeidet og det er morsomt og inspirerende å jobbe med Dagny. Dette blir lærerikt og en nyttig erfaring jeg kan ta med meg i min videre utvikling. Jeg gleder meg til å se resultatene!
A little introduction from Mari:
Hi! My name is Mari and I'm 16 years old. I'm from Bærum,
Norway, and am currently attending a high school where I'm majoring in design
and crafts. I chose this major since I have a passion for interior design and I'll be majoring in this for the next two years. Vi have a project at school where we have the possibility to intern. The project has to be related to my major next year, interior design. I wanted to work with Dagny and Beautiful Living so that I could get involved with the whole process of decorating. It's also a great opportunity for me to put my theory to practice. We've already started working together and it's fun and inspiring to work with Dagny. I will definitly gain from the experience and it's useful baggage for my training in becoming an interior architect which is my ultimate goal. I'm looking forward to seing the results!

Oh my she looks adorable! I can't believe that she is already studying interior design at age 16 that is so cool. Wish we could have something like that in the states.
