Objects of desire: Still loving the zebra... / Elsker fortsatt zebraen...

So the zebra rug has been around the block. A few times actually. Some people really think it's had it's peak, and it's about time to bring something new and fresh to the table, but I still love it. I love the Hollywood Regency feel it brings to a room with the black/white stripes, and there's also the exotic element of something that so doesn't belong in Scandinavia.

In fact, I love it so much, that I just ordered one (a dyed cowhide) from pmDe! Wohoo! It'll most likely arrive in Norway in about 3 weeks.

Zebrateppet har i flere år vært superpopulært (ikke i Norge, men spesielt på det amerikanske markedet), og mange synes det er litt oppbrukt og at det er på tide å finne på noe nytt. Men jeg digger uttrykket til teppet, og Hollywood Regency-elementet det tilfører et rom med de sort/hvite stripene, og det eksotiske elementet av noe som absolutt ikke hører hjemme i Skandinavia.

Faktisk digger jeg det så mye at jeg bestilte meg et farget zebrakuskinn fra pmDe på fredag! Wohoo! Det kommer mest sannsynlig til å "lande" i Oslo om ca tre uker.
