A modern take on Chinoserie / En moderne tolkning av Chinoserie

While at the hospital with Stella , I read the last issue of Norwegian Elle Interiør, and they did a small feature about the Painstaking Cabinet by Thelermont Hupton. I was completely fascinated by the form and clear reference to 18th century classical chinoserie furniture. Would have loved to see it styled with both classical and more contmporary furniture and pieces.

So what do you think? Love it or prefer the more classical version?

Mens jeg var på sykehuset med Stella, koste jeg meg med den siste utgaven av Elle Interiør. De hadde en liten feature om skapet Painstaking Cabinet av Thelermont Hupton, og jeg ble veldig fascinert av formen og de klare hentydningene til klassisk Chinoserie-møbler fra 1700-tallet. Ville gjerne ha sett skapet stylet i et miljø med både klassiske og mer moderne gjenstander!
