Objects of Desire: Uniqe and affordable art from Wonderwall / Fantastisk og budsjettvennlig kunst fra Wonderwall

About a week ago, Alek featured a post about Story Hotel in Stockholm, and this piece of art blew me away. My first thought was, drop it, looks custom made.

A few days after, another blogger, Camilla, did this post about some new artwork, "1000 Dollar Shoes" by Lovisa Burfitt she'd gotten for her apartment from Wonderwall. The image below from her apartment shows the piece she got, which is PERFECT for a fashionista (and belive me, she's a true fashionista!).

For ca en uke siden, hadde Alek et innlegg om Story Hotel i Stockholm, og kunstverket på veggen fascinterte meg. Min første tanke var, dropp det, ser utrolig dyrt ut... Og er sikker spesiallaget.

Et par dager senere hadde en anne blogger, Camilla, et innlegg om et nytt kunstverk hun hadde fått til leiligheten sin, "1000 Dollar Shoes" av Lovisa Burfitt fra Wonderwall. Bildet nedenfor viser bildet i leiligheten hennes, og er etter min mening PERFEKT for en fashionista (og tro meg, Camilla er en fashionista!).


So I decided I had to check out the site, and guess what I found.... The girl! It's called "Little Lies" and is by Jenny Mörtsell. It is being sold in a limited edition of 333 copies. Size: 40" by 30". All pieces are signed and numbered by the respective artist. Price? SEK 790 (about USD 120)... Now, that's a bargain in my book! They're only sold on Wonderwall.

Prices range from about SEK 600 - 3000 (USD 80-420).

Jeg bestemte meg for å sjekke ut siden, og gjett hva jeg fant... Kunstverket fra Story Hotel! Det heter "Little Lies" og er av Jenny Mörtsell. Det blir solgt i et begrenset opplag av 333 kopier. Alle kopiene er signert og nummererte av kunstneren. Størrelse: 100x70 cm. Pris? SEK 790.. Hehehe!!! Det kaller jeg et bargain!! De blir bare omsatt av Wonderwall.

Prisene på de forskjellige verkene varierer fra SEK 600-4000.
