Christmas at Beautiful Living and a table makeover / Jul hos Beautiful Living

We're having an understated Christmas this year, with lots of vintage ornaments, decorations (mostly inherited or home made), and a color palette with pops of red, purple and silver/grey/white.

The "trees" are actually heather, and they'll survive for a couple of weeks inside. Love how they look like tiny christmas trees.

Det er ingenting som er "over the top" med julepyntingen her hos oss. Vi har mange arvestykker, noe hjemmelaget og et fargepalett med innslag av rødt, lilla og sølv/grått/hvitt.

De små trærne i urnene er faktisk oppstammet lyng, og kommer til å overleve et par uker. Elsker hvordan de ser ut som små juletrær :)

I know, we still haven't gotten drapes... It's on the list though!

Jeg vet det, vi har enda ikke fått gardiner... Det står på listen! Jeg klarer ikke å ta en avgjørelse på hva slags gardinstenger vi skal ha (karnapp-utfordring).

The milk glass compote is filled with ornaments from Jeanne D'arc Living.
