Prada Marfa in Gossip Girl!


Ever noticed the Prada Marfa poster in Lily Bass' penthouse? I think it's completely pointless, but at the same time completely fabulous. I read a post about the set designer of Gossip Girl by Maria at klikk.no a few days ago, and got curious about who the poster was by. I did some digging, and found it!

Har du lagt merke til Prada Marfa-posteren i Lily Bass' penthouseleilighet? Jeg synes det er fullstendig poengløst, men samtidig fullstendig fantastisk. Leste et innlegg av Maria på klikk.no for noen dager siden om settdesigneren på Gossip Girl, og ble nyskjerrig på hvor man kunne få tak i posteren. Fant ut av det!! :D

The Prada Marfa store is in the middle of the Texas desert, and it's more of an art installation than an actual store. It never opened, and is filled with shoes donated by Prada.

The Prada Marfa poster is 30x40 inches, and you can get it at Worksonwhatever.com.
They also have some other pretty amazing posters (from $250-$300)and towels ($95 each), I've shown a selection below.

You forgot to mention the name of the artists behind Prada Marfa? Elmgreen & Dragseth, a danish-norwegian artist duo. Probably the most established and successfull artists from Norway and Denmark at the moment, they deserve a mention for this great work of art.
