The Cupcake Challenge - part III

We're now entering part III of the cupcake challenge, and for this round, we've invited Bethany and Karen from Olea's Cupcakes. Bethany and Karen got the same challenge as Chopcakes and Sparkles Cupcakes, to make cupcakes that matches my living room. They were both super excited about the challenge, and a few days after I sent them the invite, I picked up these four beauties:

Before we start the review, I have to mention one thing. I don't know if I'm comparing apples to oranges here, because these are the first cupcakes of the challenge that has been flavored. Oh, it feels good even writing it!!

The first cupcake, was made to match my ikat pillows. They had a carrot flavor with cream cheese frosting. Can you spell Y-U-M-M-Y??? OMG!

"MMmmmmmm!!!"

"The second one is picking up the white in the decor. It's vanilla with vanilla frosting topped with carmel.

I have two words for you: MOUTH ORGASM!!!"

"This cupcake is without doubt the best food I've ever eaten. It tops EVERYTHING - dinner, dessert, snacks - EVERYTHING!!"

"Look at that carmel..."

"Rich, dark chocolate with chocolate frosting"

"If you love chocolate, you're going to LOVE this!! It melts on the tongue..."

"Now this is what I call eye candy - a zebra cupcake??

Swoon!!

The flavor? Oreo cookie (of course) with vanilla frosting!

The super cupcake surrounded by deceased cupcakes (or maybe devoured?)

"The taste is fabulous - LOVE oreo cookies"

"Almost finished..."

"Just one more picture of the caramel... I DIE... Seriously!"

"DONE"

The verdict? This is by far the best cupcakes I've ever had in my entire life. I don't think words can express how good they are. All I think about now are these cupcakes. I want them. ALL the time. The Magnolia Bakery needs to hire these two girls!!

The cupcakes cost NOK 25 each (about USD 6) which is pretty descent for the Norwegian market. You can choose flavor and design yourself.
