Scandinavian Design Classic: The Saarinen Tulip Table

intro
The tulip table by Eero Saarinen is a table most of us know and love. It’s known for it’s versatility and looks appropriate in everything from strict minimalism to the most maximalistic rooms you can imagine.

“Ah, Domino, come back, come back!!! We need to see more fabulous homes like this”

So I have a question for you – which room do you think incorporates the Tulip in the best way? Do you prefer it with or without Tulip chairs?

I love the tulip chairs but I like the table best when it is mixed up with different chairs. It looks more current with a mix of chairs. And I am dying for a tulip table of my own. Great post!!

Bordet har verkligen en klassisk formgivning, jag föredrar kombinationen med Ghost-stolarna.

The great thing about the Tulip table is that it gracefully adapts to any interior. I must say that I hve seen the Tulip chairs with a different table on only a few occasions. Ill dig up some photos I´ve saved somewhere.

Love a tulip table, used it in my last client space and it was a HUGE hit...I have to say I prefer it without the tulip chairs to mix it up a bit though

Your images were so amazing you are winning me over to a hipper place in design. Imagine me hip? My favorite room is the pink and orange bed room. The tulip side tables are pretty, but I need more space and drawers!

I like the third one from the bottom.

It's crazy how this table can be found in any and every style room and always look great!

These rooms are truly inspiring. I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.

I love this table, it's great to see it used in such a wise range of room designs too. There aren't many designs that can do that!
