We’re wrapping up season one of the Cupcake Challenge with the fabulous Linda from Call Me Cupcake in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Linda has the most stunning blog, and her work is jaw dropping and totally drool worthy. Since Linda is located in a different country, we decided that she took the photos, and this review will be based on looks and her description. (although these photos totally makes me want to pack my bags and go to Gothenburg asap, it’s only a four hour drive, right???

Yum – that’s definitely the right word for it…

I’m actually frustrated that I can taste these! The pattern on the pink cupcake matches my ikat pillows perfectly :)

The first cupcake, is the famous red velvet (which I have NEVER tasted – I’m feeling frustrated!!) topped with a whipped cream cheese frosting. According to Linda it’s amazingly juicy and her personal favorite. The frosting is like a dream, creamy and luscious… (geez, I’m practically drooling here..)

The second cupcake is made of chocolate with a hint of coffee and big chunks of dark mint chocolate. Yummy!! The frosting is mint flavored butter cream. Omg…

The final cupcake with the fabulous zebra flag is vanilla and lemon flavored  with fresh raspberries (you can see them at the bottom – me likey!!) It’s topped with a fresh lemon cream cheese frosting… I die… Linda, you need to get yourself and your cupcakes to Oslo! I’ll take you to lunch if you bring the cupcakes!!

In season two, I’ve redone my living room, so things will be changed up a bit. We’re aiming on airing in early September. The lineup is looking VERY good. We have some returning contestants and some brand new ones as well.
