A New office and a Mood Bboard in the works!

I started my new job a few weeks ago, and it's an understatement to say it's been hectic. Work is work, and I love it when it's hectic, but the real challenge is combining work+family. My biggest challenge has proven to be making good and healthy dinners. The solution is dinner plans, and this week is the first one in ages where I know what to cook every day (and I purchased all the groceries on Saturday).  Lots of incredibly exciting things going on, today, we started working on the second issue of our magazine (the first one isn't out yet).

I'm trying to make our office space a little bit more inspirational (they're temporary, until we move into new premises next fall), and the easiest way to do so, is make an inspiration board. I've already started working on it, and I have to admit, it's going to be HUGE!

I started out with some cork boards, but quickly realized they were too small...

If you want to make an inspiration board of your own that's NOT for a specific project, make sure to add enough elements so that it won't get boring too quickly.

Or use pins instead of tape, so you can easily rearrange, add or remove elements.

The best moodboards combines images, fabrics, wallpaper samples and other yummy stuff you keep laying around.

Have you started on yours yet? What's you biggest source of inspiration?

Your new job sounds so interesting. I love to hear more about it! Wish you the very best!

I love inspiration boards, but I haven't started on one my self yet. All though I plan to almost every day. My biggest inspiration is literature, and second comes browsing internet, especially blogs.

Merry Christmas, Dagny:-)

I use white and natural colors in most of my house, but I could not resist making a mood board in girly pink above my desk. You can find it here: http://irideeen.blogspot.com/2010/08/happy.html
