Project 1: Bedroom

The first project we're tackling is the master bedroom, and we've painted the walls and ceiling, and I have to admit that I'm über excited about the result this far!

I know, it's a crappy shot. The ONLY thing that's remotely ready is the walls and ceiling. The bed is going bye, bye and we bought this new baby yesterday:

I'm going to make an upholstered headboard, and right now, I'm heavily inspired by the one below by Donna Griffith via Desire to Inspire:

It's a very simple design to recreate, and I'll find a fabric with a floral pattern in about two weeks. (I'll of course let you know which ones I'm considering, so you can help me pick out the right one!)

All I know is that it's going to be fresh, feminine and colorful :) You have no idea how happy I am to be rid of the previous shit colored walls we had!

*Update* The wall color we're painting, is a brand spanking new color that we're launching at Fargerike in about two months...
