Problem solved! / Utfordringen er løst!

A HUGE thank you to ebayer It's Sew Sweet! Only hours after I placed my order, the package was on it's way to Norway. YAY!!!! I ordered 5 yards, which will be more than enough (and with that ridiculous low price, I should probably have ordered five more...). Anyways, I'm just super happy about it, and it totally made my day!! Annie from A View on Design was also a total gem, and helped me out a bit. Thank you!! :)

Annie fra A View on Design hjalp meg også litt, tusen takk!! :)

Fabulous Fabrics from Svenskt Tenn! / Fantastiske mønstre fra Svenskt Tenn!

Last week I got this great tip from an old high school friend, Benedicte (Dikken) to check out the fabrics and patterns by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn. And was she right or what? The patterns are definitely bold, but I really love the intricate patterns and they definitely bring an extra oomph to the decor. Svenskt Tenn was founded in 1924 by Josef Frank and Estrid Ericson and have definitely had a strong influence on Scandinavian and particularily Swedish design. Below you can get a closer look on the amazing patterns and furniture Frank made for the company.

This awesome chest was made by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn. It was auctioned out by Christie's, and was expected to go for between $ 15,000-20,000. Ended up going for a crazy $ 51,613.

"Teheran"

Fun fact: In "Mamma Mia", Meryl Streep is throwing herself at this fabric in white. The director is a huge fan of Josef Frank and wanted to somehow implement his fabrics in the movie.

Lucky Benedicte (the old high school friend) actually has some fabulous cushions covered with the "Teheran" fabric!

Stoffprøver til spisestuestolene! / Fabric samples for the dining room chairs!

Tusen takk for alle forslagene vedr bordet, dere hjelper virkelig tankeprosessen videre!

I just got some fabric samples that I'm thinking about for the chairs. My two favorites are the ones from Robert Allen (2nd pic). Which one is yours? Or do you have a different suggestion?

And thank you so much for all the ideas and inspiration on the table, you're definitly helping out (A LOT!!)

Hvilken er din favoritt? / Which one is your favorite?

For å se fargepalettet til interiøret, klikk her.

As you know, I have some furniture waiting to be upholstered. There's my six
dining chairs, the swedish chair, a chaiselounge (not pictured), seating cushions for the bamboo chairs (two of them will be painted egg duck blue and one chinese red), and maybe some cushions for the couch (which is white).

To see my color palette, click
here.

These are from Lee Industries. I already have swatches, and I'm considering the coral one for the bamboo chairs. Nothing has been decided though, with the HUGE selection from interiormall.com (below).

The fabrics above are from interiormall.com. My next step is to order som swatches, but I'm having problems deciding which ones to order? Which ones do you like the most?
